Give it time- after a few days of drinking two glasses of water as soon as you wake up, your body will thank you by working more efficiently. How? You might notice that you feel more focused and that your bowel habits have improved. Water is essential to life- staying hydrated may help you feel healthier overall.

DAYTIME TIPS : Isn’t Drinking Other Fluids Just as Healthy?

The short answer is no- our bodies specifically require water to function properly. Drinking other liquids in moderation isn’t necessarily bad for you, but when you drink liquids like sodas, juices, and even teas, they must be filtered through your system before they can be absorbed into your cells.

Consuming large amounts of other liquids to try and hydrate your body may actually do the opposite; sugary drinks or drinks containing caffeine can pull water from the body! LATE NIGHT TIPS : Don’t Skimp on Sleep

Lack of sleep can do much more than just make you feel tired all day, it can wreak havoc on your immune system too. One way you can help your body catch up on any lost sleep is to take short naps; these naps should be no longer than 30 minutes each- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. If taking a half-hour nap during your regular workday isn’t possible, try napping for 20 minutes on your lunch hour, and again before dinner time.
